DavisStudios206: Transforming Lives Through Creativity
Taking Guns Out of Kids' Hands and Placing Them in a Creative Space
At DavisStudios206 Creative Program, we believe that every child deserves a future free from violence, where their hands hold microphones, cameras, instruments, and paintbrushes—not guns. Our mission is simple yet urgent: to provide a safe, creative space for at-risk youth, giving them the tools and opportunities to express themselves through music, film, podcasting, and performing arts.
With violence affecting our communities, we refuse to stand by and watch another young life be lost. Instead of weapons, we equip them with creativity, purpose, and hope.
Our Program: Creativity as a Path to Change
We offer a structured, free program where kids and teens can discover their creative potential in a supportive environment.

Why We Have Volunteers Fighting for This Mission
Our volunteers are mentors, artists, teachers, and community members who refuse to let another child become a statistic. They give their time, talent, and energy because they know that every hour spent teaching a skill is an hour keeping a child safe.
They fight to:
-
Replace fear with confidence
-
Replace violence with purpose
-
Replace hopelessness with opportunity
And they do this all through the power of creativity and mentorship.

Testimonials: Stories That Inspire
🌟 Malik, Age 17
"Before DavisStudios206, I didn’t think I had a future. I lost my brother to gun violence, and I thought I’d be next. Then I walked into this studio, and everything changed. I recorded my first song, and for the first time in years, I had hope. This place saved my life."
🌟 Ms. Tasha, Volunteer & Mentor
"I give my time to DavisStudios206 because I see what happens when kids don’t have a creative outlet. They turn to the streets. But here? They turn into artists, filmmakers, and entrepreneurs. I’ve seen kids go from carrying trauma to carrying cameras, from pulling triggers to pulling audiences in with their words. This program works."
